"To maximize this drink's likely, use quite chilly whiskey so it won't dilute the ice. I love to use six ounces of soda. You certainly haven't got to use 7 Crown Whiskey, any American (or Canadian) whiskey will do. A good bourbon or rye in the 45-fifty% ABV can be my leading choice.
